Story Trailer for Batman: Arkham City
Batman: Arkham City is the sequel to the previous blockbuster Batman: Arkham Asylum, and it’s a new 3rd-person Action-Adventure title which features elements of sneaking, melee combat and puzzle solving gameplay. For this long-awaited sequel, Batman faces numerous classic enemies out of the Batman universe, many of which were found in the previous game, and gamers will now be able to assume the role of the sneaky Catwoman to complete certain missions throughout this game.
Arkham City is the slum region of Gotham which was modified into an extremely secure penitentiary used to house Gotham City’s worst criminals. Prisoners are given freedom within the surrounding outer walls of Arkham City if they don’t try to bust out. Batman maintains a vigil on Arkham City, and must take action when Two-Face intends to publicly execute Catwoman to gain fame. Furthermore, the psychiatrist assigned to the prison, Hugo Strange seems to have his own hidden plan for this prison district.
This game includes enhanced movement options available to the Dark Knight, which include sliding, jumping, gliding and the grapple hook. Additional melee attack moves will be now available for the Dark Knight, plus Batman is now able to fight even more opponents at the same time. The game will have a whole host of completely new as well as improved upon gadgets to try out throughout this game, with all of the gadgets from Arkham Asylum being available at the beginning of this game.

The official launch date for Batman: Arkham City is slated around October 21st, and is going to be available on the following gaming systems: Xbox 360, PC Systems as well as PS3. The video game will be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and the video game was developed by Rocksteady Studios. This game features only the single-player campaign. The PEGI ranking specified for this video game will be PEGI 16, and is therefore best suited for players 16 years and older.
